Forespar was founded in 1966 by Robert Foresman in California to develop a telescoping spinnaker pole. Since then, the company has grown into a global supplier of marine equipment. Its headquarters is located in Rancho Santa Margarita, California, where Forespar operates its own manufacturing facility with CAD/CAM design, plastic injection molding, and carbon fiber composite processing.
The Forespar product range includes a wide array of equipment for sailing and motorboats. This includes spinnaker and whisker poles made of aluminum, carbon fiber, or composite materials, the Leisure Furl® mainsail furling system, Marelon® fittings for corrosion-free plumbing systems, davit systems, safety equipment, and various marine accessories. The products are characterized by the use of lightweight, corrosion-resistant materials and innovative designs.
