Our traditional boat or pilots ladder - Handmade in our TOPLICHT workshop - has steps made of beech wood with grooves carved on the top.These protect against slipping on wet steps.The bottom step is made of hard rubber, so that the ladder won't float.The space between steps is about 300 mm.Rope used: 12 mm Spleiteks, double-run on both sides and lashed together above and below the steps.Longer ladders are available upon request.

Our strong boat ladder - manufactured according to the standard for pilot ladders ISO 799 - has steps made from hard wood with slip-proof ripple grooves, with the lowest 2 steps being from heavy rubber. Which prevents the floating of the ladder. The cordage is a 3-strand manila natural fibre rope with a diameter of 18mm. The steps are pressed in with aluminium press sleeves and have a distance of 330mm. At the top are spliced in thimbles with an extra length of rope of 3m. The boat ladder is also be used as boarding ladder for swimming or in case of a man-over-board rescue. Measurements of the steps: Wooden step 525 x 120 x 28mm. Rubber step 530 x 115 x 52mm. 330 cm long rescue ladder stowed in a robust white PVC bag. The bag (280x254x60mm) with reflective strips is attached to the pushpit, for example, using two black straps with buckles made of satin-finish stainless steel + 2 TENAX press studs.The signal yellow 5mm line is left hanging outboard.
