The original of the manufacture E. Thomas & Williams. CAMBRIAN miner's lamp has been manufactured in Wales for over 130 years. Originally used as an explosion-proof work lamp (weather lamp), it is now a handcrafted gem for discreet lighting with low fuel consumption. Each lamp is individually numbered and comes with a certificate of origin.Heavy duty, riveted and soldered solid brass construction, with milled tank and explosion proof grill. This lamp weighs 1.5 kg! The top of the lamp is available in brass, copper, stainless steel or painted black.The flat wick can be adjusted with a smart mechanism from the outside without opening the lamp.Tank capacity: 100 ml for about 20 hours of burning time.Dimensions: Diameter 90 mm, height 250 mm.Can be used as a table or hanging lamp. Replica of the cargo lamps used in earlier centuries on cargo ships. The lantern is made of brass, glazed all around and thus windproof. BLUE is a clear, odorless naphthene paraffin, without any additional perfumes.Ideally suited for stoves, lamps and heaters.Advantages: In paraffin cookers or heaters no clogging of the nozzle, in lamps it provides carbon-free burning.Naphten paraffin may also be used to remove rust and for cleaning purposes.

The burner socket mounted in the glass holding ring consists of the regulating mechanism and is guiding the wick. We ship complete burners consisting of glass holder ring and burner socket.
