The lamp ELBE 2 is the standard size of the HAMBURGER HAFENLICHTER and is manufactured in a small workshop, the famous "Eisenkrämerei" CHRISTIAN WEIMEISTER, in Hamburg at the Landungsbrücken after old designs with a lot of handwork. Each lamp is unique and has an embossed production number.

The tank is pressed from copper sheet and has a riveted decorative brass band. The vase ring and burner are made of brass. The version with 8" burner has a lockable brass filler neck soldered into the tank so that the burner does not have to be unscrewed for filling.

The lamp is hand polished, the harmonious interaction of the two materials copper and brass makes the warm light of the kerosene flame shine pleasantly. The kerosene lamp is equipped with KOSMOS burners.

A small copper funnel is included.

The HAMBURGER HAFENLICHTER are available in various sizes and different designs.

Universal lamp for wall or table mounting. The lamps can be placed in a wall bracket (black painted steel with polished brass reflective) or placed directly on a table. Available designs: Paraffin (kerosene): 14''' glass chimney KOSMOS, wick and relatively large burner for good light. Tank contents: 0.4 l for approx. 30 hours of burning time. Electric: 14''' round bodied glass chimney, cord runs through the side of the tank. Approx. 120 cm cord length with rocker switch and plug. E27 socket. Electric: the version DELUXE, technically as above, but additionally equipped with a round brass holder, with which the lamp can be firmly fitted to a wall. Spare chimneys are available (paraffin article-no. 4130-014, electric article-no. 4130-002).
