The lens is made of impact-resistant acrylic glass and the housing is made of UV-resistant plastic.The LED light unit is shock and vibration resistant, making it perfect for extreme conditions. Port and starboard lights together consume less than 2 watts, which is less than 10% of the power consumed by conventional navigation lights.The LED technology makes the navigation light multi-voltage capable in a range of 9-33 volts. This allows installation for on-board power systems ranging from 12 to 24 volts, and protects the light module from voltage spikes and reverse polarity.
