Comfortable tying up to mooring buoys or rings. This sturdy stainless steel mooring hook provides a reliable connection between mooring buoy and vessel. The connection can be conveniently secured and released on board by means of an internal, spring-loaded remote release. The strong construction has a total length of about 90 cm and consists of a hook made of 12 mm round steel and a welded-on tubular rod (Ø 17 mm) with an internally guided 12 mm spring-loaded bolt as a remote release. The hawser or mooring line is attached directly to the eye of the hook and guided on deck via a fairlead (Ø 28 mm) welded to the upper end of the rod.
The BOATASY GHOOK mooring hook makes picking up the often fouled and overgrown mooring lines easier and ensures fast and safe manoeuvring when guiding the vessel on mooring or box lines. The G-shaped plastic hook consists of a handle with an inserted 7cm wide plastic pulley and a stainless steel safety latch. Due to a hole in the handle, an additional line can be attached to increase the reach of the GHOOK, which is particularly advantageous for larger boats with high freeboard. The BOATASY GHOOK with pulley offers many advantages for port manoeuvres:Instead of using your hands, with the GHOOK mooring lines can be picked up easily and safely with and guided outside the boat with little friction. This reduces the risk of injury from mussels and barnacles sticking to the mooring line and prevents dirty hands and contamination on the hull and deck.Especially in strong crosswinds, quick mooring manoeuvres are important. During marina manoeuvres, the boat can be secured against drifting sideways by using the GHOOK. Possible damage to other boats is thus prevented.

The HOOK & MOOR Vario makes mooring safe and easy. Thanks to its sophisticated, ball-bearing mechanism boat lines can be threaded through rings, bollards, cleats or ladders very quickly. The benefit of the HOOK & MOOR boat hook is that it pulls the mooring rope through the ring and back onto the boat in one motion without having to reach dangerously far overboard. Just place the eye of the dock line in the carabiner of the HOOK & MOOR, reach down and pull the hook right through the cleat or mooring eye and bring the dock line back towards the boat to secure the line’s eye on the cleat. When locking, mooring to a piling, tying up at mooring buoys, pier or jetty, the mooring boat hook HOOK & MOOR Vario is an ingenious mooring aid that speeds of making a line connection and provides more safety. Especially when sailing with a small crew or onboard boats with high freeboard the patented grab hook can be a very helpful addition to the boat equipment. When locked, the HOOK & MOOR Vario can also be used as a normal adjustable boat hook. The hook and its mechanism are made of carbon fibre-reinforced polyamide and stainless steel, the telescopic handle bar is made of forged aluminium.

This classic boat hook allows simple and secure grabbing of buoys and mooring rings. It is made of high-strength cast aluminum bronze with a hand-polished surface. This elegant and functional fitting is designed and manufactured by British company DAVEY & CO.The boat hook is made of two parts (sleeve and hook): The sleeve is screwed to a wooden boat hook shank (diameter 35 mm) (shank is not included). A mooring line is spliced into the small eye (D = 25 mm) of the hook. As long as the hook sits on the sleeve, the safety latch remains open. The GRABIT is used as a mooring aid as follows: When mooring, the boat hook is hooked into the mooring ring. The secured hook is then released from the sleeve, the safety latch holds the hook in the ring and the vessel is securely connected to the buoy or jetty with the mooring line. The vessel can then be moored at leisure with the actual mooring line. For use as a fixed boat hook, the sleeve and hook are secured with the safety split pin (with small safety chain) and then remain connected to the stem.Supplied without the line shown and without boat hook shank.
