This elegant and functional fitting is designed and manufactured by British company DAVEY & CO.The boat hook is made of two parts (sleeve and hook): The sleeve is screwed to a wooden boat hook shank (diameter 35 mm) (shank is not included). A mooring line is spliced into the small eye (D = 25 mm) of the hook. As long as the hook sits on the sleeve, the safety latch remains open.The GRABIT is used as a mooring aid as follows: When mooring, the boat hook is hooked into the mooring ring.
