WEST SYSTEM universal resin (type 105) is for use as a base material for all applications. This is a light amber-colored, low-viscosity, liquid epoxy resin that can be used with a variety of hardeners. In the majority of cases, type 205 hardener is used for quick hardening (pot life 10-15 min. at 25 °C). For large surfaces a slower hardener type 206 is recommended (pot life 20-30 min. at 25 °C).For more information, please request the full user manual under "Downloads & Information" below.Commplete packages, as well as single components, are available. First-time users should order the matching pumps that allow exact mixing of the epoxy. The mixture by volume with the standard hardeners (type 205 and 206) is 5:1.
G/flex 655 is a thyrotrope, already thickened for use, non dripping epoxy compound. This high-tensile and absolute water-proof epoxy is seen as a supplement to the existing WEST SYTEM epoxy products, which carries on where the standard system reaches its limits. In addition to the known good properties of WEST epoxy resins G/flex offers a especially high permanent flexibility (approx.30% ultimate elongation), a high peeling strength and a high tolerance towards moist surfaces. Especially well suited for all structural bonded joints where strong stresses of expansion, contraction, shock and vibration have to be absorbed, for instance at the joining of wood and metal or of types of timber that expand differently, as well as when bonding fittings to wood and other materials. Very well applicable for problematic timber that by itself can absorb little resin like teak and oak. G/flex has a user-friendly mixture ratio of 1:1 and can even be employed on wet surfaces with restrictions. It is also suited for GRP repairs as well as for the adhesion of problematic plastics like Polyethylene (PE) and PVC. Additional package sizes are available upon request.

A blended microballoon-based filler used to make fairing putties which are easy to sand but remain strong on a strength-to-weight basis. Add 20% to 40% by weight to mixed WEST SYSTEM epoxy. Cures to a dark reddish-brown colour.

410 MicrolightT is the ideal low-density filler for creating a lightweight, easily worked fairing compound especially suited for large areas. Microlight is easily blended into the epoxy mix at additions between 7% to 16% by weight and when cured is easier to sand than any other filled system. Holds a feather edge and is more cost effective than other fillers. Not recommended for high temperature applications and should not be coated with dark colours. Cures to a tan colour.
A filler developed to maximise bond strength in hardware bonding where high cyclic loads are anticipated. With this, rather heavy filler, epoxy of highest compressive and tensile strength can be produced. It can also be used for filleting and gap-filling applications, but it is difficult to grind.May be added to the resin/hardener at a rate of 35% to 60% by weight, depending on the viscosity needed. Colour: off-white.
Versatile woven fabric tapes are ideal for reinforcing chines, hull/deck corners and similar structural applications. When bonded with WEST SYSTEM epoxy, they provide additional tensile strength to resist hairline crack development and abrasion.Available in 10 m pieces and 50 m rolls.
These glass fabrics are used for fiber composite laminates with WEST SYSTEM epoxy resins. They are also well suited for the repair of GRP boats or as an abrasion-resistant outer skin on wooden boats, whereby the lightweight fabrics dry completely transparent and can therefore also be used under clear varnish. The twill weave enables excellent drapability of the fabrics and the lamination of complicated three-dimensional shapes.Supplied as a square meter pack or as a roll.

The resin type 105 is a clear, low-viscosity liquid epoxy resin. Formulated for use with West System hardeners, it can be cured in a wide temperature range to form a high-strength solid with excellent moisture resistance. A superb adhesive, WEST SYSTEM epoxy will fill gaps and bridge voids when modified with WEST SYSTEM fillers and can be sanded afterwards. With roller applications, it has excellent thin-film characteristics to flow out and self-level without "fisheyeing." Multiple coats create a superior moisture barrier and a tough, stable base for paints and varnishes. The resin is formulated without volatile solvents and does not shrink after curing. It has a relatively high flash point and no strong solvent odor, making it safer to work with than polyester or vinylester resins. For each container size of resin, there is a corresponding sized container of hardener and mini pump size. When purchasing resin, hardener and mini pumps ensure thal all items are labelled with the same pack size (A, B,C).
A blend of fine cotton fibers, used as a thickening additive for bonding applications.Epoxy thickened with 403 fibres provides good wetting out of the substrate and excellent gap-filling properties. They give the resin a better viscoplasticity and absorb tensile forces.Add 4% to 16% by weight of 403 to WEST SYSTEM epoxy mix. Colour: off-white.
Ensures a clean and even structured epoxy resin surface that can be further coated without sanding.Doesn't stick to the epoxy and must be stripped off after the resin is hardened, no enforcement!Supplied in packs.
