The life of the crew can depend on the safe functioning of the life jacket.For this reason, the Fachverband Seenot-Rettungsmittel FSR has clearly regulated the quality and service standards for life jackets:The service life of an inflatable life jacket is generally limited to ten years, provided it is serviced every two years by a specialist service centre.Thereafter, the service life of properly serviced lifejackets can be extended to a maximum of 14 years if they are serviced annually. We offer this service (Article-No. 3273-100) exclusively for automatic life jackets from the manufacturers SECUMAR and KADEMATIC.Older lifejackets are no longer serviced!We also cannot service life jackets that do not have a production date marked on them!The date of the next inspection can be found on the service gadge (month and year).We are an authorised specialist dealer and pass on the life jackets for certified servicing.The scope of maintenance includes:16-hour leak test of the inflated buoyancy chamberfunctional check of the automatic systemfunction test of the manual releasefunction test of the mouth valveRenewal of the release tablet and sealsCheck the seams and fittingsCheck the CO2 cartridgeIf necessary, repairs and replacement of service parts are carried out at extra cost.Processing time approx. 14 days.You can bring your lifejacket to our shop or send it to us as a pre-paid consignment. Spare and consumable parts for KADEMATIC life jackets with automatic release NAUTOMATIK 3002 S.A spare set consists of * one CO2 propellant gas cartridge with screw-in thread* two release tablets (four in the set for children´s life jackets)* two spare pinsThe weight of the cartridge and for which life jacket it is suitable can be found in the table below. If there is any uncertainty, we will be happy to advise you on the right size for your life jacket.The trigger tablets are also available separately in a four-pack. These can also be used in SECUMAR life jackets with the SECUMATIC 3001S automatic release.As an automatic lock for the KADEMATIC automatic release NAUTOMATIC 3200 S, the lock from SECUMAR for the automatic release SECUMATIC 3001S (Art. No. 3286-077) can be used.Suitable spare cartridges and release tablets should be available on board at all times for every life jacket in order to be able to make a released life jacket operational again at sea.On KADEMATIC life jackets with neck fleece, this can be replaced.
The KADEMATIC Spraycap protects the head from being washed over in strong spray, which contributes greatly to cooling. The spraycap also ensures that waves or spray do not enter the airways, which in the worst case could lead to drowning.The spraycap must be fitted at the factory. It is sewn onto the float. Afterwards, the waistcoat must be checked again for proper functioning.The spraycap can be fitted at the KADEMATIC factory:when buying a new waistcoat before deliveryas a retrofit - preferably as part of regular maintenance, because this must take place anyway after the cap has been sewn on.

The automatic lock 3001S also fits the KADEMATIC automatic release NAUTOMATIC 3200 S.
SECUMAR Crutch strap 2K: Single strap, can be retro-fitted to all lifejackets from 2003 with crutch strap loops. It has two stainless steel links, separated by SECUMAR Click 30 fastener. Using a retro-fitted crutch strap has further advantages: you can adjust the way the lifejacket sits on your body better, particularly after the lifejacket has inflated in the water. The result: the distribution of buoyancy is optimized, hence your head is lifted higher out of the water.
