SECUMAR Crutch strap 2K: Single strap, can be retro-fitted to all lifejackets from 2003 with crutch strap loops. It has two stainless steel links, separated by SECUMAR Click 30 fastener. Using a retro-fitted crutch strap has further advantages: you can adjust the way the lifejacket sits on your body better, particularly after the lifejacket has inflated in the water. The result: the distribution of buoyancy is optimized, hence your head is lifted higher out of the water.

SOLAS-approved LED lifejacket light SECULUX LED-II.The light can be easily attached to any automatic or solid lifejacket. The battery (62.5 x 25 x 22 mm, 63 g) is connected to the light by a 75 cm long cable.The flashing light (with 50 to 70 light appearances per minute) is activated automatically on contact with water (in fresh or salt water). It can be switched off manually.With an average of 1.5 cd, the light is significantly brighter than the SOLAS minimum requirement of 0.75 cd.Light duration: approx. 10.5 hours. Battery life: five years from date of manufacture.

The life of the crew can depend on the safe functioning of the lifejacket.For this reason, theFSR has clearly defined the quality and service standards for lifejackets:The service life of an inflatable lifejacket is generally limited to ten years, provided it is serviced by a specialist service every two years.Thereafter, the service life of properly serviced lifejackets can be extended to a maximum of 14 years if they are serviced annually.
