Maximum flexibility and independence: with its innovative EFOY series fuel cells, the German manufacturer SFC ENERGY offers a weather-independent and environmentally friendly energy source - space-saving, lightweight and absolutely quiet.The device contains the necessary charging electronics and switches itself on or off automatically as required depending on the condition of the batteries, the battery is always fully charged and deep discharging is prevented.The EFOY fuel cell is based on DMFC (direct methanol fuel cell) technology. It converts chemical energy into electrical energy without intermediate steps and major efficiency losses. Electricity is produced using the fuel in the fuel cartridge (methanol), supplemented with oxygen from the air. In addition to electricity, only waste heat and water vapour with a small amount of carbon dioxide are produced. EFOY fuel cells require our EFOY fuel cartridges to generate electricity. These have a safety-tested system specially developed for EFOY fuel cells and are filled with high-purity methanol. Thanks to the safety cap, they do not come into contact with the fuel and can be changed in a matter of seconds. Unscrew, screw on - done!Our fuel cartridges are available worldwide in two sizes (5 and 10 liters). With an M10 fuel cartridge (10 liters) you can be self-sufficient for up to 4 weeks on average.
