Electrical lighting on board serves different purposes depending on its location. In engine rooms and working areas, fittings illuminate machinery, access routes and workstations, while chart and reading lamps provide directed light over a limited area. Surface-mounted, strip and profile lights are used in cabins, galleys, wheelhouses and other interior spaces. During repair, refit and replacement work, the dimensions and connection options of existing ship lighting can also determine the choice of fitting.
TOPLICHT supplies marine electrical lights for 12 and 24 V onboard systems, together with models for other voltage ranges and mains supplies. The range includes LED work lights, chart-table and spot lamps, engine-room and ceiling lights, multipurpose fittings and flashing lights for different areas and duties on board. Depending on the model, housings and covers are made from polycarbonate, aluminium, stainless steel, cast brass or glass. Different protection ratings and mounting arrangements cover installations in dry interior spaces as well as locations where moisture and spray have to be taken into account.
Alongside low-profile LED fittings, the range includes guarded lights and traditional designs with replaceable lamps. This provides options for new installations as well as for conversion, maintenance and replacement of existing onboard lighting.
