LIROS GmbH is a German manufacturer of technical fiber ropes headquartered in Berg, Bavaria. Founded in 1854, the family-owned company is now managed by the fifth generation, Karl Friedrich and Sven Rosenberger. LIROS produces exclusively in Germany and employs around 170 staff at its sites in Berg and Lichtenberg.

The company places great emphasis on innovation and customized solutions. Instead of mass production, LIROS focuses on developing technical ropes for specific applications in industry and sports. The product range includes over 2,000 rope products made from synthetic and natural fibers, used in areas such as yachting, aerial sports, forestry, automotive engineering, and theater technology.

LIROS continuously invests in modern manufacturing technologies and quality management. Production takes place in a state-of-the-art 10,000 m² facility equipped with the latest machinery.

Hemp-color, 3-strand traditional polyester rope. With its "wooly" cover, it is exceptionally soft, grippy and flexible and hard to distinguish from natural hemp rope. In contrast to natural hemp, it is absolutely decay-proof and won't harden.Similar to SPLEITEX rope, this rope gets its "wooly" cover through a very fine, elaborately spun polyester yarns. Compared to SPLEITEKS, LIROS-CLASSIC has higher UV- and chafe-resistance. Works well for pulleys and halyards on gaffers and traditional yachts.
