These shackles are tested individually and can be used for lifting. The safe working load (SWL) is stamped on the shackle. If desired the test certificate can be provided. Similar to DIN 82101. Stainless steel 1.4542 (17.4PH/AISI 630). Forged shackles follow the molecular structure lines of force, differing from, for example, cast shackles, so that it is possible to set the same strength for every forged part! For application in areas where safety is critical, the use of forged articles is highly recommended.As is true of all forged stainless steel pieces, they will not break suddenly, but will deform first. This is an important safety feature because it allows easy detection of overloading.To be on the safe side, only use stainless steel shackles at 1/4 of the given breaking load (BRL).Only use tested shackles with a given safe working load (SWL) for lifting heavy loads.

PETERSEN STAINLESS RIGGING LTD, a manufacturer of high quality stainless steel rigging components, has developed the well known NORSEMAN terminals under the new brandname HI-MODE.These high precision terminals, manufactured in England from stainless steel 1.4404 (AISI 316L), are stronger dimensioned than the breaking load of the strongest wire fitting for them. The newly developed cone with crown ring enables the very simple and safe fitting to the wire with on-board means, that is without milling and pressing. There is no need anymore for sealants when fitting the wire and cones are reusable if undamaged. It is necessary to order special cones for wire constructions 7 x 19 und 7 x 7. One Cone for wire 1 x 19 is included. Additional designs of swageless compression terminals for wires up to 26 mm are available (prizes on request). A detailed application instruction comes with the shipment.

Elegant high-strength shroud turnbuckle with classic open body. The chromed body is forged from high-quality aluminium-bronze. The stainless steel forks (1.4401/AISI316) are very cleanly and lavishly wrought entirely from solid material, without welds and their corresponding weak points. The standard UNF fine-threads ensure, through the combination of bronze body and stainless steel threaded fork, that the turnbuckle can be adjusted under high loads, with no danger of breakage. The turnbuckles are 10% to 20% stronger than the strongest wire shroud that could be used. Brand-name product from Europe. Design: fork/fork, other designs by request.
