Traditional gaff claw (claw fitting).The sturdy gaff saddle has a hand sewn leather cover, which protects the mast finish and may be greased to ease sliding.The gaff end fitting is cast of marine bronze and hand-polished.Clew fitting with ring for the halyard and for the sail, made of welded bronze, shiny polished.This hand-finished fitting is a functional piece of art for any traditional boat or yacht.The complete set matches our mast and boom fittings in size and finish.D2 should not be less than 1.15 times the size of the largest mast diameter.Not appropriate for high peak or Gunter riggings. Bowsprit traveller EAST COAST

Bowsprit traveller for hauling out the jib sail on the jib boom or bowsprit. Hergestellt in Enghland. Heavy-duty A4 stainless steel fitting with solidly constructed, drilled plates. Well suited for attaching a headsail furling system. Bolting the furling gear into plates reduces the tendency for the furling line to snarl up. The ring is neatly stitched with rigging leather. Comes without bolt. Other sizes on request. Please note that bowsprit travellers are specified by the bowsprit they will work on. Normally they are sized 30% larger in diameter than the bowsprit.

Bronze bowsprit fitting EAST COAST

Open bowsprit fitting in very strong design with high breaking load. Made in England from polished bronze.The wide strap is equipped with drilled lugs on every side. The lug at the top has two holes. The front of the two eyes is usually used as an attachment point for a fixed stay or for bowsprit halyard (dutch sailing barges). The sail or an outhaul block for the bowsprit traveller can be attached to the inner eye.Well-suited for recessing into the wood, in order to have the fitting band and boom nock finish off in an attractive manner.
