Sjö&Hav Swedish Outdoor Care is a Swedish brand of outdoor body care and cleaning products. The company was founded in 2004 after identifying a need for products suitable for life in the Stockholm archipelago that could be used in both fresh and salt water. The products are manufactured in Sweden and developed for Scandinavian outdoor conditions. The range includes readily biodegradable cleaning products and body care products intended for use along coasts, lakes, in forests, and in mountain environments.

Among the company's best-known products is its readily biodegradable outdoor saltwater soap, which lathers in salt water and, according to the manufacturer, rinses off easily even with cold water. The range also includes a readily biodegradable saltwater shampoo with the same characteristics. Another key product is the plant-based "Mygg + Fästing" insect repellent, which the manufacturer states provides protection for up to six hours against mosquitoes, ticks, deer keds, horseflies, and biting midges. Sjö&Hav also offers a hand dishwashing liquid formulated to remove grease effectively in cold salt water.

The Sommarljus outdoor candle from SJÖ&HAV not only creates a cozy atmosphere on a summer evening, it also spreads a natural, fresh citrus scent that at the same time keeps mosquitoes away. The candle is made of rapeseed and lemon eucalyptus oil wax and contains Citriodiol®, an active ingredient that is also used in SJÖ&HAV mosquito spray. SJÖ&HAV Outdoor Washing-up Liquid is a mild hand dishwashing liquid for washing dishes outdoors and on board. It was specially developed for the use in Swedish summer houses (Sommarstuga), where cooking and washing dishes are typically done without running water. The dishwashing liquid is suitable for salt and fresh water and also cleans in cold water. The formulation is vegan, biodegradable and free from fragrances. For economical use, 2 cl of dishwashing liquid is sufficient for 5l of water. Important: Even biodegradable soaps and dishwashing liquids can, over time, become a burden on the ecosystem, so it should not be used directly in the water or discharged into standing bodies of water such as lakes. It is recommended to wash the dishes in a bowl and dispose of the water a few meters away from the body of water so that it can be filtered through the soil.
