The STA-PLUG is a timely solution for such emergencies as leaks and water breaches in a variety of boat types. The plug, from the manufacturer FORESPAR, is specially developed of soft flexible material in the shape of a cone, so that it can fit in the most unusual hull breaches after the motto "insert, push & twist". Whether it's a round hole due to a mechanical failure or a crack in the hull, the STA-PLUG fits the shape of the leak. Unlike classic wooden plugs, the soft cone can be squeezed together by hand or cut into a shape that fits the hole to stop the water flow.

Dimensions: height 230 mm, largest diameter 120 mm.

STA-PLUG does not guarantee to stop all leaks. It is meant to be one of the safety means on board besides others (like a bilge pump of sufficient dimension). Not to be used for leaks in the fuel system.

The water pressure presses the disk into place.The five-meter-long tensioning strap can be used to lash the leak protection washer inside the yacht so that it is securely fixed in position.
