The Ocean Signal rescueME MOB2 is currently the smallest AIS MOB transmitter on the market that complies with the standard for AIS Man Over Board devices (AIS MOB standard IEC63269:2022) and has been certified accordingly . The standard (ECDIS 63269 IEC 2022) from January 1, 2021 states that all AIS MOB devices with DSC (Digital Selective Calling) must also have a DSC receiver. In addition, all automatic mechanisms must be able to be switched off. The sale of AIS MOB devices that do not comply with this standard is prohibited.The MOB2 can be easily integrated into any automatic lifejacket and is automatically activated when the lifejacket is deployed.
