With its headquarters in Belm-Vehrte near Osnabrück and an additional facility in Stegelitz near Magdeburg, the company specializes in the development, production, and distribution of marine coatings for sea, port, and inland shipping. As a medium-sized enterprise within the OSNATOL Group, HSF Hansa Schiffsfarben offers flexible and market-oriented solutions for maritime corrosion protection.

The product range includes a comprehensive selection of above and below waterline paints as well as surface coatings. This encompasses single-component primers, single-component topcoats, two-component coatings, and antifoulings. Specific products such as HANSAPOX Barrier, a user-friendly 2K epoxy resin combination with optimized barrier properties and high mechanical durability, and HANSA Antifouling OCEANIC, an affordable antifouling approved by the BG-Verkehr, Ship Safety Division, complete the portfolio. The products are designed for use in various maritime sectors, offering solutions for areas subjected to high mechanical stress and chemically resistant tank interior coatings.

2-component epoxy primer containing zinc dust (67%) with high penetration properties, even on steel surfaces that have only been derusted by hand or water-blasted.This results in a very well adhering and robust cathodic corrosion protection layer. HANSAZINC ST tolerates residual moisture (no wetness) and slight flash rust formation.Can be painted over with 2-component paints, as well as with bitumen, vinyl and chlorinated rubber primers, but not with alkyd resin-based paints and paints containing zinc phosphate. Penetrating oil for the preservation of steel used traditionally in the shipping industry. The firm drying liquid on a linseed stand-oil basis is especially suited for manually derusted steel surfaces.This aromatic free preservation will be used primarily where sandblasting or the use of power-tool cleaners is not possible, like for instance inboards, in the bilge or in the chain locker. Colour: brownish transparent.Also useful for impregnating raw wood.Yield: approx.17 m²/l.
