RINGSPANN RCS GmbH, based in Oberursel, is a subsidiary of the RINGSPANN Group specializing in mechanical remote control systems for industrial applications. The company develops and manufactures bidirectional push-pull cables, Bowden cables, lever and pedal systems, which are used worldwide in industries such as railway technology, marine engineering, automotive industry, mechanical and plant engineering, and aerospace technology. Production is carried out through a flexible mix of manual and machine manufacturing, enabling both standard solutions and customized special designs. RINGSPANN RCS is certified according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
The product range includes:
- Push-Pull Cables: Bidirectional cable systems capable of transmitting both pulling and pushing forces. They are characterized by high-quality workmanship, excellent sliding properties, and long service life. For example, the premium series 380 is suitable for high loads, tight bending radii, and temperatures from -50 °C to +100 °C.
- Bowden Cables: Flexible cables for transmitting pulling forces, customizable according to customer requirements.
- Function Cables: Special cable systems for various control and regulation tasks.
- Control Levers: Mechanical lever systems for precise control of machine functions.
- Throttle Pedal Systems: Complete solutions for controlling drive systems in vehicles and machines.
RINGSPANN RCS products are maintenance-free, intrinsically safe, and independent of electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic power supplies. They are used in safety-critical systems such as emergency releases, door locks, and load disconnect switches, particularly in railway technology.
