The rPET-Line from Langman Ropes is a braided rope made from recycled PET bottles. This rope is entirely produced in the Netherlands and is available in various colors. The rPET-Line is suitable for multiple applications, including sheets and mooring lines in maritime settings, hoist ropes, flag lines, pull cords, and decorative purposes like bracelets. Depending on the diameter, the construction varies between 16 or 24 braided configurations, offering average spliceability.
Approximately 40 recycled PET bottles are used to produce one kilogram of rPET-Line. Since May 2019, Langman Ropes has been producing all ropes with a positive energy balance.
