Glomex was founded in 1984 by Piero Baldassarri in Italy. The company specializes in the development and manufacturing of antennas and entertainment systems for the marine and automotive industries. Since its inception, Glomex has focused on producing VHF and DVB-T TV antennas, entirely manufactured in Italy and distributed worldwide. To ensure the high quality of its products, Glomex operates its own test laboratories where products are tested under real sea conditions.
Glomex's product range includes a wide array of antennas for various applications, including VHF, CB, DVB-T2 TV, AM/FM, ORBCOMM, AIS, and mobile phone antennas, along with related accessories. Glomex is the only company in the marine industry offering a lifetime warranty on its products. The antennas are characterized by their resistance to UV radiation, environmental factors, and mechanical, electrical, and electronic stress. Additionally, Glomex develops innovative solutions such as the weBBoat® series for high-speed internet at sea and the ZigBoat™ system for remote monitoring.
