VIR – Valvoindustria Ing. Rizzio S.p.A. is an Italian manufacturer of valves headquartered in Valduggia (Piedmont). Founded in 1971, the company operates its own foundry and today produces more than 10 million valves per year, exported worldwide. Branded ball valve made of seawater-resistant bronze alloy CB491K CuSn5Zn5Pb5-B with full bore. Female thread to ISO 228/1 on both sides, the ball is made of hard chrome-plated brass CW617N with PTFE sealing shells. The lever is made of steel with a special GEOMET corrosion coating, with red PVC coating. Lockable handle for ball valve VIR

This valve lever can be blocked in open or closed position by means of a sliding latch. A drill hole in the lever allows a padlock to be inserted or a lead seal to be applied.That way, the latch cannot be moved and the ball valve is secured against unauthorised operation. Suitable for VIR ball valves made of gunmetal (bronze).Some near shore areas and inland areas are designated as "No-Discharge Zones" where the discharge of any onboard waste is strictly prohibited. Brand name ball valve made from seawater resistant copper alloy CB491K CuSn5Zn5Pb5-B, fully opening. Inner threads according to ISO 228/1 on both sides, the ball and the shaft are made from stainless steel A4 (AISI 316) for exceptionally high corrosion consistency.
