This valve lever can be blocked in open or closed position by means of a sliding latch. A drill hole in the lever allows a padlock to be inserted or a lead seal to be applied.That way, the latch cannot be moved and the ball valve is secured against unauthorised operation. Suitable for VIR ball valves made of gunmetal (bronze).Some near shore areas and inland areas are designated as "No-Discharge Zones" where the discharge of any onboard waste is strictly prohibited.
