MAC Coltellerie is an Italian knife manufacturer based in Maniago, a town with a long-standing tradition in cutlery production. The company's origins date back to the 1920s when Giovanni Di Bon began working in knife manufacturing at the age of 14. In 1936, he co-founded a small factory that produced knives for other manufacturers. His son Roberto joined the company in 1958. The present-day MAC Coltellerie was established in 1964, initially focusing on producing small souvenir knives. From 1978 onwards, the company expanded its range to include hunting and diving knives, and later nautical, fishing, and rescue knives.
MAC Coltellerie handles the entire production process in-house, including the creation of its own molds for injection molding and blanking presses. This ensures complete control over product quality and allows for the manufacture of knives that meet the demands of various applications. The products are 100% "Made in Italy".
Today, the company is managed by the third generation, Matteo Di Bon, who joined the family business in 2003 and introduced modern manufacturing technologies. MAC Coltellerie offers a wide range of knives for various applications, including diving, fishing, rescue, outdoor, military, work, and gardening. The knives are known for their functionality and reliability and are recognized by professionals worldwide.
