Lewmar Ltd. is a British manufacturer of marine equipment based in Havant, Hampshire. Founded in 1946 by Len Lewery, the company evolved from a small operation producing Tufnol fittings to a global leader in yacht and boat accessories. Since 2019, Lewmar has been part of the Lippert Group, a global manufacturer of components for recreational vehicles and boats.
Lewmar's product portfolio includes anchor windlasses, anchoring systems, winches, bow thrusters, hatches, portlights, steering systems, and deck hardware. The products are developed for both sail and powerboats and are known for their high quality and innovative technology.
Throughout its history, Lewmar has received several awards, including three Queen’s Awards and two DAME Awards for outstanding product innovations. The company has also been involved in significant projects, such as equipping the "Australia II" in the 1983 America's Cup and the restoration of the "Gipsy Moth IV".
