Products from Hutton-Arco

HUTTON-ARCO Yacht Winches is the product line of the Australian company The Australian Yacht Winch Company, which has been designing and manufacturing high-quality winches for sailing and motorboats in Sydney since the 1960s. The company is the only yacht winch manufacturer in the Southern Hemisphere and is known for robust constructions without the use of plastic components (except for bearing cages).
The product range includes:
- Self-tailing winches: Single and two-speed models equipped with a self-adjusting metal jaw mechanism for various rope sizes. Drums are made of high-strength, seawater-resistant bronze or hard-anodized aluminum. Maintenance is straightforward and requires no special tools.
- Standard winches: Single and two-speed models with ratchet systems suitable for various onboard applications. The housings are cast from a single piece of bronze, ensuring high stability.
- Electric and hydraulic drives: Two-speed drives with patented, energy-efficient vertical and horizontal drives, suitable for both new installations and retrofits.
- Power cleats: Low-profile, electrically or hydraulically operated cleats with spring-loaded metal jaws that securely hold lines ranging from 12 mm to 25 mm in diameter.
HUTTON-ARCO offers a lifetime warranty on selected models and is renowned for excellent customer service. The products are characterized by classic aesthetics, quiet operation, and high reliability, making them particularly attractive to owners of classic yachts and long-distance sailors.
