This very fast-drying universal corrosion protection epoxy primer is "One for Everything": An exceptionally robust and waterproof 2-component sealant for use in underwater and above-water areas.PPG SIGMAPRIME 200 has excellent corrosion protection properties, as well as high surface and temperature tolerance. It adheres to hand-derusted as well as water-blasted surfaces, just as well as to aluminum and hot-dip galvanized surfaces. Processing instructions: For sufficient corrosion protection in underwater areas, we recommend a dry film thickness of at least 200 μm; with roller application, this corresponds to approx. 4 coats. SIGMA VARNISH YACHT GLOSS (formerly known as SIGMARINE 42) is a high-gloss, solvent-based clear varnish based on wood oil, phenolic and alkyd resin. The varnish has been specially developed for high-quality wood surfaces outdoors and is particularly suitable for yachts and boats above the waterline. It is weatherproof, resistant to salt and fresh water, offers very good elasticity and excellent surface flow quality. Application: Before painting, the wood must be clean, sanded and additionally degreased for oily woods. The maximum wood moisture content is 18%. For new coatings, an initial impregnation is recommended, followed by three coats of SIGMA VARNISH YACHT GLOSS. For renovation of existing coating structures, damaged areas are sanded down to bare wood, impregnated and rebuilt. EPIFANES MULTIGUARD+ is a tar-free, semi-gloss black marine paint suitable for bare steel surfaces as well as for the maintenance of existing tar and bitumen coatings. The coating has excellent adhesion to steel as well as to pretreated tar and bitumen layers. The paint is colorfast and resistant to alternating influences of water and air. Application is by brush, roller, or spray gun. Application: Stir well prior to application. Make sure to apply the product only in well ventilated areas. The temperature should be above 8°C while applying and during drying times. The first coat is applied to bare steel or to roughened or softened tar layers thinned with 20–25% EPIFANES 1K Spray Thinner (Art. No. 2059-110) or white spirit and applied with a stiff bristle brush. Subsequent coats are applied with a short-haired lambskin roller. The substrate must be clean, grease-free, and dust-free. The Antislip Additive from PPG SIGMA is a finely ground natural granulate made from coconut shells for producing slip-resistant coatings for decks and walkways. The powder consists of coconut shell fibers and is compatible with all top coat from PPG SIGMA and other manufacturers. It is especially suitable for applications where increased slip resistance is required.Application: The powder can be stirred directly into the topcoat and applied with a short-pile roller. Alternatively, it can be sprinkled onto the fresh paint layer – ideally using a fine sieve. SIGMARINE 49 is a high-gloss alkyd topcoat for interior and exterior areas above the waterline. It is easy to apply with a brush and shows very good flow, high weather resistance, opacity and color stability. The varnish is also resistant to sulphur dioxide (occurs in areas with high air pollution). The recommended thinner is SIGMA THINNER 20-05. HANSASOL EP THINNER is a solvent-based thinner for 2-component coatings based on epoxy resin like HANSAZINC. The mixture of aromatics and alcohols is specially matched to epoxy resin coating materials and can also be used for cleaning suitable work equipment. Processing instructions: Add the thinner only after mixing the base and hardener. Not suitable for 2-component coating materials based on polyurethane (PU, PUR, DD) as well as paints based on certain polymers such as PVC or acrylate. Not suitable for degreasing surfaces.
