Zinc dust-containing (67%), surface-tolerant 2-component epoxy primer with high penetration properties, even on steel surfaces that have only been derusted by hand or water-blasted. The pigment-rich formulation results in a very well adhering and robust cathodic corrosion protection layer for use above and below water.HANSAZINC ST tolerates residual moisture (no wetness) and slight flash rust formation. YACHTCARE Antifouling Primer is an elastic, one-component primer for underwater hull coating on GRP, metal and wood.The metal particles contained in the primer form a mesh of scales, which provides high-quality protection against penetrating moisture. It is also suitable as a barrier primer and adhesion promoter when changing antifouling. The antifouling primer serves as a base for all commercially available hard and self-polishing antifoulings, but not for antifoulings that contain metallic copper, such as PTFE thin-layer antifouling.Technical dataSubstrates: GRP, wood, steel, aluminum, existing commercially available antifoulingsPre-treatment: The substrate must be clean, dry and free of grease.
