2577*13 HEMPEL LIGHT PRIMER
2577*13 HEMPEL LIGHT PRIMER
HEMPEL LIGHT PRIMER is a high-quality two-component primer based on epoxy resin for underwater and above-water applications. It serves as a good barrier against penetrating water vapor on rigid substrates, for osmosis prevention and repair on GRP and as corrosion protection on metals. It can also be used on plywood and hardwood. Suitable for interior and exterior use above and below the waterline, as well as for coating keels and rudders.
Within the specified recoating intervals, LIGHT PRIMER can also be recoated directly with a subsequent product without intermediate sanding. The surface should be almost dry, but still slightly tacky. For a subsequent coat of antifouling, a coat of HEMPEL UNDERWATER PRIMER (Art. No. 2577-053) is recommended as an adhesion primer.
