EPIFANES CR Antifouling Primer is an aluminum-pigmented, universal underwater ship primer based on chlorinated rubber. Suitable for use on steel, aluminum, wood and polyester. HEMPEL CONVERSION Primer is a two-component epoxy resin-based adhesion primer. It was developed to facilitate the change from conventional antifoulings to the biocide-free thin-film antifouling HEMPASPEED TF from HEMPEL. The LEFANT Epoxy Primer is specially designed for underwater use and can be applied to gelcoat, plastic, steel, aluminum, Z-drives and propellers. Zinc dust-containing (67%), surface-tolerant 2-component epoxy primer with high penetration properties, even on steel surfaces that have only been derusted by hand or water-blasted. The pigment-rich formulation results in a very well adhering and robust cathodic corrosion protection layer for use above and below water.HANSAZINC ST tolerates residual moisture (no wetness) and slight flash rust formation. Can be painted over with two-component paints as well as with bitumen, vinyl and chlorinated rubber primers, but not with alkyd resin-based paints and paints containing zinc phosphate.
