Extremely fast-drying, robust yacht enamel that dries only semi-gloss, resulting in a certain degree of slip resistance. Suitable for applications above the waterline, especially for heavily used areas such as walking decks and hatch coamings.
The paint offers very good adhesion, is mechanically durable, and is suitable for areas subject to heavy use. By adding up to 25% EPIFANES Clear Varnish (Art.No. 2050-001), the gloss level can be increased; by adding EPIFANES Anti-Slip Additive (Art.No. 2059-002), the slip resistance of the paint on walking decks can be increased.
Can be applied to wood, steel, and aluminum above the waterline, as well as for refurbishing already existing, intact paint systems.
Application The surface must be clean, dry, dust- and grease-free. Before application on smooth surfaces, sanding is required. Application is done with brush, roller, or spray gun at temperatures between 5 °C and 25 °C and relative humidity below 85%. Between coats, intermediate sanding with P220–P280 is required. For steel and wood outdoors, a suitable EPIFANES primer such as MULTI MARINE PRIMER (Art.No. 2066-175) or WERDOL Primer (Art.No. 2052-175) is recommended.
