Description

High-gloss, single-component varnish based on urethane oil with very good color stability. EPIFANES MONO-URETHANE Yacht Varnish combines the easy application of traditional 1-component systems with the approximate hardness and weather resistance of a 2-component varnish. The product is suitable for new and renovation coatings on primed wood, steel, aluminum, and fiberglass above the waterline for interior and exterior use. On carefully degreased and sanded fiberglass, direct application without primer is possible.

Application: For optimal adhesion, appropriate priming with EPIFANES MULTI MARINE PRIMER (Art.No 2066-102) is required, and for aluminum surfaces additionally with WASHPPRIMER AQ (Art.No 2062-005). Application is done with brush, roller, or spray gun at temperatures between 8 °C and 30 °C and relative humidity between 50% and 85%. Do not apply wet-on-wet. An intermediate sanding with P400 or Scotch-Brite is recommended between coats.

Note on the color chart: The colors shown correspond as closely as possible to the original colors, but deviations cannot be ruled out.
