A proven underwater primer with good rust protection in the marine industry. This chlorinated rubber primer pigmented with aluminum is highly waterproof and elastic. It is suitable for steel, wood and GRP and can be painted over with most commercially available antifoulings. VIKOTE 18 is also suitable as a sealer between an old and a new antifouling coat.
After thorough cleaning and sanding, old tar and bitumen coatings can also be painted over, but "bleeding through" must be expected.
Coverage: approx. 8 m²/l.
Color: light silver-grey.
Thinner: Sigma Thinner 21-06.
