BIOPIN BOOTSLACK is a traditional, high-gloss wood oil clear varnish with good elasticity and excellent flow. It is weatherproof, seawater-resistant, and abrasion-resistant. The product has good penetration and adhesion properties and offers long-term protection against UV radiation.
Application Apply on a dry, dust- and grease-free surface using a brush, roller, or spray device at temperatures above 8 °C. For new wood, a primer with BIOPIN BOOTSLACK (diluted 10–20%) or BIOPIN BOAT OIL (Art.No. 2631-140) is recommended. Then apply one to three undiluted coats, sanding between coats. For old coatings in poor condition, complete removal may be necessary. For old coatings in good condition, sanding and 1–2 new coats are sufficient. Do not crumple contaminated cloths due to risk of spontaneous ignition; instead, allow them to dry spread out.
Technical Data
- Application area: Clear varnish for wood indoors and outdoors, especially for boats and damp areas
- Substrate: Clean, dry, dust- and grease-free; also suitable for wood-based materials
- Primer: BIOPIN BOOTSLACK diluted or BIOPIN BOAT OIL
- Coverage: approx. 12 m²/l
- Thinner: BIOPIN THINNER or turpentine oil
