Robust and reliable, self-eroding antifouling with copper compounds as the active ingredient.
No sanding required before subsequent coating. Suitable for all boat building materials except aluminum.
Economical protection for the entire season in salt, brackish and fresh water areas with moderate temperatures.
This antifouling has a Dutch approval (approval no. 15010).
Technical data
- Area of application: Waters with medium to heavy fouling
- Boat type: Sailing and motor boats with normal speed
- Substrate: GRP, wood, plywood, steel (not suitable for aluminum)
- Coverage: approx. 13 m²/L (theoretically at 40 µm dry film thickness)
- Thinner: Hempel's Thinner 808 (max. 5 % for brush/roller application)
- Application method: Brush, roller
- Drying times (at 10 °C): Hand dry after approx. 30 min., recoatable after approx. 8 hrs.
- Reflotating time (time between painting and launching): 24 hours - 1 month
