Description

The Series 500 is a navigation light manufactured by PETERS & BEY in Hamburg for vessels under 50 meters in length (unlimited length for inland navigation). The waterproof, black housing and lenses are made of fiberglass-reinforced polyamide, while internal components and covers are stainless steel.

This position lantern is corrosion-free, shockproof, seawater-resistant, anti-magnetic, and splash-proof according to IP 56.

Lamp replacement is straightforward and performed from above by opening the housing lid.

The LED lantern 780 holds the following certifications: BSH, GL, UL 1104, MED
Therefore, it is suitable for commercial shipping.

Lenses and seals are available as replacement parts for our sturdy and durable PETERS & BEY navigation lights, so these lanterns can remain functional for decades. Poycarbonate lenses of navigationlights can become brittle and dull after years of UV exposure, so replacing the lenses may be advisable. The lenses come with four pop rivets, and the seal kit includes two soft rubber seals. The electrical insert with bayonet socket is also replaceable.
