The Type 570 signal/flashlight was developed by the Hamburg-based manufacturer Peters + Bey.

The Type 570 flashing light was developed for ships with special purposes. It has a robust, silver anodized aluminium housing that offers excellent mechanical strength and optimum heat dissipation. It is shock-resistant, corrosion-resistant, non-magnetic and seawater-resistant.

The connection is made via 12/24 VDC or 115/230 VAC. Both connections are located in the housing on the underside.
The signal/flashlight type 570 is supplied without cable.

Poycarbonate lenses of navigationlights can become brittle and dull after years of UV exposure, so replacing the lenses may be advisable. The lenses come with four pop rivets, and the seal kit includes two soft rubber seals. The electrical insert with bayonet socket is also replaceable.
