Description

The 780 Series is the LED lantern designed for vessels over 50 meters in length. The lantern is manufactured in Hamburg by PETERS & BEY.

The housing is made of black, glass-fiber-reinforced polyamide with stainless steel bezels and is corrosion-free, shock-resistant, and seawater-resistant.

Thanks to LED technology, the position light is maintenance-free and has a service life of 50,000 operating hours. It is also suitable for retrofitting older Type 760 navigation lights to LED, as the housing dimensions are identical. Weight: 950 g. Protection class IP56; suitable for 24 V onboard power supply; also available upon request in 115 V or 230 V versions, as well as a dual lantern with an internally mounted backup unit.

The 780 LED lantern has the following certifications: BSH, GL, UL 1104, MED
This makes it suitable for commercial shipping.

Hole spacing in the mounting plate: 155.5 x 155.5 mm.

Replacement Parts for PB410 Position Lights

Replacement lenses and gaskets are available for our sturdy and durable PETERS & BEY navigation lights, ensuring that these lanterns can remain fully functional even after decades of use. Polycarbonate lenses on position lights can become brittle and dull after years of UV exposure, so replacing the lenses may be advisable. The lenses come with four pop rivets, and the gasket set includes two soft rubber gaskets. The electrical insert with a bayonet socket is also replaceable.
