Steel door latch for heavy ship doors and hatch covers. The sleeve of steel tubing is made to be welded into steel bulkhead doors. TYPE A (DIN 83104 A73) standard implementation with two welded handles St 37-2 and a steel sleeve (length of the sleeve 73 mm). For doors in insulated walls there is a type with a longer sleeve (93 mm).The handles are primered with red brown zinc oxide, the sleeve is equipped with two sockets made from brass and with holes for grease nipples (thread M 10 x 1).A stop pin made from steel to weld to a steel frame is available as an accessory. There are a number of special designs available: TYPE B with handle and square-headed plugs (19 x 19 mm), TYPE C with handle and pan head. All parts are available also separately.

It is on both sides equipped with square mounting plates of (L x W x H) 63 x 63 x 3 mm with 4 countersink holes of 6 mm.The latch has a stop, that restricts the angle of movement to 90°.
