Description

Large aluminum latch for hatches. Low installation height above deck so that no lines can get caught and there is no risk of tripping.

The latch is inserted into the hatch cover in a 50 mm hole with two flattened sides. A large, smooth-running locking lever is located below deck, which engages in a plastic bearing supplied with the hatch by means of a rotary movement and, thanks to its special design, pulls the hatch cover downwards and closes it tightly. The hatch can also be opened again from the inside using the handle.

The lock can be operated from the outside using a winch crank with an internationally standardized octagon.

The sash lock can be used on hatch covers with a material thickness of up to 25 mm. The cover is fixed with a grub screw on the flattened side of the thread. The threaded rod for holding the handle can be shortened if necessary.
