The TRUDESIGN ball valve, made from glass-fibre-reinforced nylon composite, is a tried-and-tested product worldwide. This version features a T-handle, designed for installation scenarios where a large handle would be impractical or obstructive due to space constraints. The valve is corrosion- and electrolysis-resistant, electrically non-conductive and suitable for hulls made of aluminium, steel, wood or GRP. Ball and sealing rings made of PTFE. Parallel or cylindrical BSP internal threads.Â
Technical features
- Glass fibre-reinforced nylon composite
- for applications above and below the waterline
- PTFE ball and PTFE sealing rings
- corrosion- and electrolysis-resistant
- non-conductive
- suitable for aluminium, steel, wooden and GRP hulls
- lockable in the closed position, e.g. with a padlock
- Temperature range: -40 °C to +110 °C
- Thread types: BSP (parallel)
- Can be used without issue with brass, bronze or stainless steel fittings
- UV-resistant
- 100% leak-tested before leaving the factory
