The EV-100 autopilot is a complete and tried-and-tested solution for tiller-steered yachts up to a maximum weight of 6 tons (approx. 11 meters). Its electric push rod is mounted in the cockpit in a supplied socket in the GRP or wooden deck, a small axle is attached to the tiller and a socket is fitted for the power supply to the motor. The EV-1 and ACU-100 control and computer unit is mounted below deck and is quick and easy to install. With the package, the autopilot can also turn at the push of a button (auto-tack), steer according to wind angle if a corresponding wind unit is networked on board, or turn at waypoints.The S1 push rod with motor can be fitted for use in a few simple steps or removed again and stowed below deck. The package comes with a p70 display control unit, the EV-1 9-axis position sensor and the ACU 100 drive control operating unit. The latter is very easy to read even in sunlight and around 25 percent brighter than the previous model series. It is ideal for navigation on sailing or motorboats and can display many other boat data. Whether wind information, echo sounder, AIS, radar, engine data or tank levels, they can either be integrated into the plotter image or displayed on split screens or separate dashboard pages. Particularly important data such as course, speed, depth or nearby vessels are always clearly displayed and the crew can easily keep track of everything. Fish finders from the RV 300 series can also be integrated.The AXIOM+ 12 is either flush-mounted in the equipment carrier on the helm or in the bulkhead, or mounted externally on the bracket supplied. It has an integrated GPS module for location and course data, but can also be optionally connected to an external GPS antenna. Proven, highly versatile multifunctional display that can show almost all data from the SeaTalkNG or NMEA2000 on-board network. Speed, course, wind data, depth, tank gauges, engine data, AIS - there is hardly any information that the i70s cannot display in a clear and structured way. Analog transducers from log/sounder, wind, etc. can also be integrated via an ITC-5 converter. Older RAYMARINE devices can also be connected via a converter.The RAYMARINE "Lighthouse 4" user interface allows easy installation and display of the ship's data via 7 preconfigured, intuitive visual screens in an analog instrument look. These include heading and speed, wind data such as AWA, TWA, navigation data, depth and heading. Engine measurement data such as rpm, water temperature etc. can also be displayed. Alternatively, split screens with up to six info blocks can be freely configured. Alarms can also be set, for example for depth, AIS and cooling water temperature.Four buttons allow easy operation by clicking through the screens, so there are no problems with usability even when wearing gloves and in the rain or splash water. The Bluetooth-based RCU-1 remote control allows you to operate all Raymarine EV-generation autopilots from anywhere on board. Ideal for maneuvers or sail changes on deck and for solo sailors. Just as you’re used to on the cockpit display, you can easily change course in 1- or 10-degree increments. The Point and Go feature is brand new: simply point the control unit in a direction or at a target and steer in that direction with the push of a button. You can preset via software how long this course should be steered.A brand-new safety feature is the available Solo Sailor mode: If the skipper (or a crew member) goes overboard with the remote control, causing the connection between the base station and the RCU to be lost, the RCU steers the boat into the wind. This requires a system with a wind sensor installed. Note: The Point and Go and Solo Sailor functions only work in conjunction with an Axiom chartplotter on board running at least Lighthouse version 4.11 or higher.The RCU is operated in conjunction with the WG-1 base station, which feeds the remote control’s Bluetooth signals into the onboard network via an NMEA2000/Device Net connection and can be installed below deck. The set contains all the necessary components to set up a small SeaTalkNG network on board. The 5-way connector acts as a short backbone to connect your new SeaTalkNG device via a trace cable (white-black). The supplied power cable supplies the backbone with power from the battery, and the two blue end resistors close the circuit.This allows a new Raymarine device to be put into operation or connected to other devices in an existing network. The adapter cable allows Raymarine devices, or their backbone, with SeatalkNG data format to be fed into an NMEA2000 system/backbone. Raymarine backbone adapter cables can always be recognized by the blue plug/line color. It is plugged into a corresponding blue slot in the cabling of the new device and the NMEA2000 plug into a branch of the on-board network.The cable is 40 cm long.Note: If a Seatalk starter kit with 5-way distributor is installed, one end resistor must first be removed when fitting the adapter cable and the adapter plugged into the blue port.

The entry-level class of autopilots for tiller-steered yachts and daysailers weighing up to 4.5 metric tons or measuring up to 11 meters in length. Both models are standalone, complete autopilot systems that can be quickly installed or removed in just a few simple steps and stowed below deck. They feature their own fluxgate compass and GPS, as well as an electric linear drive. This robust, simple system has proven itself over many years and is one of the world’s best-selling systems, offering excellent value for the money. The unit is operated via a small LCD display and 6 buttons (Auto/Standby, +1/-1, and +10/-10).The ST series also features an Auto-Tack function that can control tacking at the push of a button, as well as an audible alarm that sounds if the boat strays off course due to rough seas or vessel movement overwhelming the autopilot. The Auto Seastate function allows the unit to compensate for the boat’s motion caused by sea state. However, the more modern EV-100 series (see related articles) performs better in this regard due to its additional sensors. AXIOM2 is the next generation of RAYMARINE's tried-and-tested, robust chartplotter series. Thanks to their good readability in the sun, intuitive touch operation and robustness, they are rightly popular with many skippers and owners. The plotters can be easily networked with transducers for depth, wind, speed and displays such as the i70 and are enormously expandable with connections for autopilots, AIS, radar, engine data cameras or on-board sensors. The data can either be integrated into the plotter image or displayed on split screens or separate dashboard pages. This makes it easy for the crew to maintain an overview. Chart sets from Raymarine's own Lighthouse standard can be displayed, as well as alternatives from Navionics or C-Map.The technical upgrade of the AXIOM2 to the previous Axiom+ version scores points with a faster 6-core processor, which makes starting, zooming and switching even smoother.
