The use of ultrasonic technology means that there are no moving parts required in the tank.Works perfectly in plastic tanks. The DEEP-PIPE immersion tube sensor is the ideal sensor for fuel tanks. The level is measured by a float enclosed in a vertical tube (diameter 38 mm). Small holes at the top and bottom of the tube compensate for the surge of fuel in the tank so that the float position remains stable in any sea state.Measuring range 90-4 Ohm matched to VERATRON VDO VIEWLINE marine instruments for immersion tube transducers. (see accessories)An optionally available 6 m long connection cable with TE Superseal plug can be used to make a watertight plug-in connection to the tank sensor in accordance with IP67.Other sensors are available in various lengths from 150 mm to 1200 mm.When dimensioning the corresponding length, a minimum distance to the tank bottom of 4 mm must be taken into account.
The WEMA water level alarm gives you an acoustic warning when the water level rises above the normal level, e.g. in the bilge.The robust switch for the alarm is mounted in the bilge at a height where there is normally no water and connected to the buzzer included. If the water inside the sensor tube rises to 80 mm, the warning buzzer switches on.Jamming of the float by foreign objects is impossible due to the surrounding V4A tube. The switching unit can be easily pulled out of the holder and cleaned. The durable design also includes the encapsulated electronics and a 3 m long connection cable with a cable cross-section of 2 x 0.75mm².The switch can also be optionally connected to a signal lamp.The maximum load capacity is 0.3 amps at 12 volts and 0.15 amps at 24 volts.The water alarm is suitable for 12 and 24 volts.
The WEMA sensors for temperature, oil pressure and rudder indicators are compatible with the gauges of different manufacturers.The bodies of the temperature sensors are made from brass, water-proof according to IP67.Some sensors are fitted with an alarm, the tolerance for temperature alarm is 3°C, the oil pressure alarm is at 0,8 bar.The rudder indicator can, without modification, serve single or double gauges with 0 - 190 Ohm.Suitable for 12 or 24V.A link to adaptors for WEMA and KUS indicators can be found under Suitable Items below.
