Robust, single sheave tackle blocks made from ash wood in a traditional design and construction suitable for navigation and crafts. The fittings are made of strong stainless steel (AISI316) with a matte stained surface giving the appearance of working blocks with hot galvanized fittings.
The sheaves are made from high tensile, self-lubricating, black ERTACETAL plastic.
The strong stainless steel axle bolt is secured against twist and loss.
The glued laminated and bolted wooden case is doused in tung oil (Chinese wood oil) and can be treated later with any oil or one-component lacquer system.
The actual load (working load) is equal to 1/4 of the specified breaking load (BRL).
