Seacock BLAKES 'POPULAR PLUS'
BLAKES seacocks are characterized by a very robust, easy-to-maintain design that ensures decades of service. The combination of high-quality copper alloys suitable for marine use ensures high corrosion resistance and a long service life. The valve body and the plug are made of dezincification-resistant CR brass (DZR1, CC752C), while the mounting bolts and nuts are made of phosphor bronze. The passage is opened and closed by a cone/plug, which requires no seal and can be lubricated from the inside via a grease nipple.
The valve body, the hose connection fitting, and the through-hull fitting are cast as a single piece; installation is accomplished by bolting the valve to the hull using the included bolts and a discharge plate.
For the smaller valve, the included plate is designed as a strainer.
Particularly suitable for the inlet and outlet of onboard toilets. The removable control lever can be mounted to turn clockwise or counterclockwise and allows you to immediately see whether the valve is open or closed.
