Bronze seacock SPARTAN
High-quality seacock with conical plug, the design is also known as tapered cone seacock. With hose connection on board.
Made of bronze (seawater-resistant bronze alloy CB491K - CuSn5Zn5Pb5-B). Proven in classic yachting for decades.
The seacock can be easily dismantled and reassembled for maintenance, cleaning and lubrication work, and two screws on the body allow the valve to be drained to protect it against freezing.
Made by the American manufacturer SPARTAN, the valve is bolted with two screws directly to the hull or on a backing plate. A standard red bronze through-hull (not included) can then be screwed into the valve from the outside, ensuring a very safe and secure mount.
The bottom of the valve is ground flat, cast gutters ensure good adhesion of the sealing material and a perfect seal.
The bronze handle can turn 180°, which ensures that the seacock is fully closed.
The closed position is visible on the handle.
