Cleaner and brightener for weathered and soiled wooden surfaces, especially for teak decks.
Suitable for cleaning GRP, gelcoat and especially non-slip or textured deck coverings, removes yellowing and rust stains.
Grayed teak decks regain their original wood color, tannin-rich woods such as oak can be neutralized before recoating or after treatment with alkaline cleaners such as
OWATROL DECK CLEANER.
OWATROL DECK CLEANER is based on oxalic acid and is biodegradable.
Safety note: Wear chemical-resistant gloves, safety goggles and protective clothing when using.
Application: Dampen absorbent substrates such as wood with water. Shake the container to homogenize. Apply evenly, then leave to act for 10–20 minutes. Ensure the surface remains moist during this time (e.g. with a water hose). After the exposure time, rinse thoroughly with a brush or high-pressure cleaner to remove dirt from the pores. For heavily discolored areas, repeat the application if necessary. Wait at least three days before further treatment with oils or varnishes (e.g. OWATROL DECK SEALER or AQUADECKS).
