TEACKDECKING SYSTEMS deck caulk SIS440 was developed by professional teak deck installers over 30 years ago. The 1-component, air-moisture hardening silane-based deck joint compound is very well suited for deck joints of 3-10 mm width.The TEAKDECKING SYSTEMS deck caulk runs very well during application and does not shrink during hardening. When hardened, it is easy to sand, extremely flexible and highly resistant to UV light. A primer is not recommended for teak deck caulking. However, the joints must be well sanded and cleaned with acetone. An inlay masking tape is recommended to prevent 3-flank adhesion.Properties:Film forming time: 20 - 40 minutes,Elongation at break: 850 %,Shore A hardness: 38-40°,Tensile Strength: 2.0 mm².Please observe the processing instructions on the data sheets.Important! When using the cartridge, first cut the tip at an angle. Then insert a suitable pointed object (e.g. a nail or screwdriver) into the spout and pierce the foil seal generously.

Practical adapter developed by teak deck specialists TDS for the precise filling of deck joints.The grouting aid can be screwed onto standard cartridge nozzles using a self-tapping plastic internal thread. Approx. 10-15 mm of the tip of the cartridge nozzle must be cut off beforehand. The skid-shaped nozzle on the wide underside is inserted into the joint and enables more controlled guidance when applying the joint sealant, saves material and limits the amount of sanding required later. Thanks to its rounded tip, the applicator enables a perfectly rounded joint. With sealing cap.
