Teakdecking System deck joint sealant SIS440 was developed over 30 years ago by professional teak deck installers. The 1-component, silane-based, moisture-curing deck joint sealant is very suitable for deck joints 3-10 mm wide.The joint sealant flows very well during application and does not shrink during curing. Once cured, it is easy to sand, extremely flexible and highly UV-resistant. A primer is not recommended for teak deck grouting. However, the joints must be sanded well and cleaned with acetone.
