Sika Primer 209D is a black, moisture-curing low viscous primer specifically formulated for the treatment of painted surfaces, plastics or acrylic glass. Cleaner for preparation of a surface for the application of a primer. To improve the adhesion properties we recommend the application of a special SIKA primer.

For an ideal adhesion when jointing wooden decks with SIKAFLEX-290 DC PRO it is highly advised to undercoat the joint flanks with SIKA-Primer 290 DC.This transparent, low viscosity primer is applied masking and has to be allowed to evaporate for at least one hour before the jointing, which has to be done in the time frame of 24 hours. SIKA-Primer 290 DC is suitable for the preconditioning of the following surfaces: - teak, - mahogany, - Oregon pine, - cork, - GRP on the basis of non-saturated polyester.
